Grace Community Church was birthed in May of 2003, as a handful of believers sought the Lord for a place to worship.  Very quickly the momentum to begin a new work emerged.

The idea snowballed and by the end of May, Grace Community Church was incorporated and on its way.  Great miracles were happening in the lives and hearts of the people, and God showed His favor when the church was able to rent a portion of a local business building for just a few dollars a month.  The building was cleaned, some folding chairs and musical instruments were added and on June 1, 2003, Grace Community Church met for the first time.

It was decided early on that the guiding scripture for Grace Church would be Ezekiel 34:16:“I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak.” (NLT)  Our call is to minister God’s love to the lost, injured, and weak; and we believe that love should be tangible.  Our call is to be the eyes, ears, hands, mouth and feet of Jesus wherever and whenever the call comes.

GCC ministries are built around Sunday morning services for adults, Sunday morning classes for kids, a youth Group that meets on Wednesday evenings and a small group ministry in homes.

Will there be more to come?  Much more, we hope in our humanity.  But God is sovereign and in charge, and He will decide the future of GCC.  Our call is to listen and build a close relationship with Him, as He writes the history of Grace Community Church.
